2010-11 SEASON REGISTRATION INFO
The Adirondack Youth Hockey Association is excited to offer pre-registration for next season. The action starts March 1st with up to $125 off a hockey membership by registering before March 31, 2010. Take advantage of this discount and SAVE! This is the best offer for the 2010 - 2011 season. Register today with a deposit of $100 to get the lowest 2010 - 2011 membership rate. Membership fees from the previous season must be paid in full to take advantage of this spring promotion.
Register in person at the Glens Falls Recreation Center during the following times or mail in your registration before March 31st.

- Wednesday, March 3 - 6 to 8 pm
- Thursday, March 4 - 6 to 8 pm

- Tuesday, March 23 - 6 to 8 pm

AYHA offers a great experience for boys and girls ages 2 to 18. Coed teams are offered at the beginner to Squirt levels and non-coed teams are offered at the Squirt levels and above. There is a great combination of house league and travel league options. Players not only learn about the game of hockey but also develop their teamwork, sportsmanship and skills needed to be great athletes. AYHA experienced growth in membership this season and offered many new and exciting programs and clinics. Several skating skill clinics were offered to all AYHA members as well as several goalie development clinics. AYHA will continue to offer A, B and C travel teams at the Mite, Squirt, PeeWee, Bantam and Midget levels based on interest and the skill level of the players.
AYHA is excited to announce a Midget Wrap-Around program for area High School players to play on a State Tournament Bound Team and will continue to offer a Midget Lite travel team that will play the entire season.

To receive the Pre-Registration Promotion Rate, a registration form and deposit of $100 must be received by March 31, 2010. The deposit is non refundable and is applied toward the membership fees. All past due balances must be paid in full to receive the promotional rate.
In addition to the AYHA membership, a USA Hockey Membership is required for insurance purposes. All players and coaches must be members of USA Hockey before they are allowed on the ice. Go to www.USAHockey.com to sign up. The membership cost is approximately $33 and is payable to USA Hockey. USA Hockey membership is free for children ages 6 and under. Please bring your USA Hockey membership confirmation to your first ice time in the fall.
Family discount - The rate for the youngest 3rd child & 4th child etc… is reduced to $125 per member.
Goalie discount - Players in their 1st full year as a goalie receive a 50% refund at the end of the season. Returning goalies receive a 50% discount off the full membership rate when pre-registering.
Parents are required to volunteer a minimum of 8 hours and up to 20 hours for a family.
Members must be pre-registered by May 1, 2010 to vote in the AYHA annual elections.
Membership fees must be paid in full by November 1, 2010 or before your 1st time on ice.

Financial Assistance:
AYHA makes every effort to give every child the opportunity to participate in youth hockey. Therefore, we offer financial assistance for youths who wish to participate in the House League. Financial assistance up to 50% off the regular registration fees is available for qualifying individuals. Parents receiving financial assistance are required to work additional volunteer hours, which are negotiated at the time of the award. The scholarship application is available on the website.
Payment Plan:
Payment plans are available to parents who need a little extra time to pay the full registration fee. Typically, we ask for a deposit and spread the payments over several months. An application form should be completed and submitted with the registration and is available on the website. NEW MEMBER DISCOUNT - $100 OFF If you are signing up for the first time and register by November, either just joining organized hockey for the 1st time or joining AYHA for the first time from another organization, you're entitled to $100 off the 2009-2010 membership rates shown below. This applies to all rates at all membership levels and ages except the Termite (learn to Skate) level. Our Termite rate is $200.

3. To complete your registration you are REQUIRED to become a member of USA Hockey, print and complete the USA Hockey Consent to Treat and Medical History Form. Please click on the link below to download the official form. Don't forget to bring the completed form with you to the first day of skating! Cost is $33.00 paid directly to USA Hockey. The fee is waived for 6 and under, membership still required.
